In a recent post on X (previously Twitter), Nothing stated that the Nothing Phone 2a Plus will be powered by the all-new MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC. This octa-core processor, clocked at up to 3.0GHz, promises to significantly improve performance.

According to Nothing, new processor will provide around 10% quicker performance than its predecessor, the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro featured in the Nothing Phone 2a.

But that is not all. The Nothing Phone 2a Plus has also been revealed to have 12GB of RAM. To sweeten the bargain, Nothing has included RAM Booster technology, which allows the phone’s capacity to be virtually enlarged to an astonishing 20GB. This is a substantial improvement that improves multitasking and provides a more responsive user experience.

In terms of graphics, the phone will use a Mali-G610 MC4 GPU clocked at up to 1.3GHz. This GPU is said to be 30 percent quicker than the previous model, resulting in improved gaming and video playback performance.

While the increased CPU and RAM specifications are fascinating, don’t overlook the outstanding features that the Nothing Phone 2a already has. Here’s a quick overview of what to anticipate from the Nothing Phone 2a Plus, which builds on the foundation built by its predecessor.

The Nothing Phone 2a Plus is expected to include a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,412 pixel) AMOLED display. This screen has an adaptable refresh rate of 30Hz to 120Hz, delivering smooth scrolling and a great visual experience whether you’re gaming, streaming, or simply surfing.

The design will most likely maintain Nothing’s basic look, possibly with some fresh accents to identify the Plus variant. The Glyph Interface, a prominent element of the Nothing Phone 2a, is slated to return, bringing distinctive notification lighting and customization options.

For photography fans, the Nothing Phone 2a Plus will most certainly keep the amazing dual 50-megapixel sensors on the back. This configuration produces amazing photographs and videos, and features such as night mode and portrait mode improve overall camera performance.

On the front, a 32-megapixel camera will meet your selfie and video chat needs. Expect sharp and clear photographs, whether you’re snapping a quick selfie or conducting a video chat.

Storage will not be an issue with the Nothing Phone 2a Plus, which is rumored to have up to 256GB of internal storage. This should provide enough space for all of your apps, images, and movies, eliminating the need for external storage options.

Battery life is another area where the Nothing Phone 2a Plus will excel. The phone is expected to include a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W rapid charging. This allows you to spend more time using your phone rather than waiting for it to charge.

Other prominent features include an in-display fingerprint sensor for quick and safe unlocking, twin stereo speakers for immersive audio, and an IP54 dust and water-resistant design. These qualities work together to make the Nothing Phone 2a Plus a durable and flexible smartphone.

Nothing Phone 2a Plus – Price and Availability

The Nothing Phone 2a starts at Rs. 23,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB model. The Nothing Phone 2a Plus, with its enhanced specifications, is expected to cost more, though exact statistics have yet to be released. Given the changes, the new model is likely to continue to provide excellent value for money, justifying any price rise.
