Nothing Phone Telephoto Camera Teased Ahead of MWC 2025

Nothing Hints at a Major Camera Upgrade

Nothing is gearing up to reveal its latest smartphone, and this time, it could feature one of the most anticipated upgrades— a telephoto camera. The brand has started teasing its upcoming phone ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, scheduled for March 4. If the teaser is any indication, Nothing might finally introduce flagship-level photography to its lineup.

Could 2025 Be Nothing’s Breakout Year?

The company has been making waves in the smartphone industry with its unique designs and transparent aesthetics. However, one area where it has lagged behind competitors is camera technology. That may change soon.

Leaks and rumors suggest that three Nothing phones could be released this year, possibly including the brand’s first true flagship device. If true, Nothing could finally take on industry giants like Samsung and Apple in the high-end smartphone market.

Teaser Hints at a Telephoto Lens

In a recent teaser video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Nothing’s CEO, Carl Pei, is seen working on a computer. A closer look at the reflection in his glasses reveals the words “LAUNCH 4 MARCH”—a clear nod to the upcoming announcement at MWC 2025.

What’s more intriguing is the way the camera zooms in, suggesting the use of multiple lenses. On flagship smartphones, this kind of seamless zooming typically indicates a transition between a wide-angle and telephoto lens. This subtle clue has led to speculation that the next Nothing Phone could finally feature a telephoto camera, a feature that has been missing from its previous models.

What This Means for Nothing Fans

If Nothing does introduce a telephoto lens, it would mark a significant upgrade, putting the brand in direct competition with premium smartphones from Google, Samsung, and Apple. Improved zoom capabilities would mean better photography, sharper details, and enhanced portrait shots—something that Nothing users have been hoping for.

MWC 2025: The Big Reveal

The good news is that we don’t have to wait long to see what Nothing has in store. MWC 2025 will be held in Barcelona from March 3 to March 6, with Nothing’s Big reveal confirmed for March 4.

As anticipation builds, the key question remains: Will Nothing finally deliver a flagship experience with top-tier camera performance? Fans and tech enthusiasts alike are eagerly waiting to find out.

What do you think? Will a Nothing Phone with a telephoto camera be a game-changer? Share your thoughts in the comments!
