PiggyRide, which is a transport platform for the children, has now secured INR 7.5 crore from the JAFCO Asia and Angels, which includes the Niladri, Sachin, Ramakant, and Naveen.
The Bangalore based company focuses on the children between the age of 2 and 18. The company on board the vehicles, primary cars, and small buses, which are installed with the various devices that help the parent to track their child’s location on a real-time basis, and watch a video feed of the ride on demand.
Parents from more than ten schools, 25 daycare centers and 50 after the school centers in Bangalore, have already signed up for the service. The next city launch is scheduled in the Delhi NCR this month.
“Since our launch, we have been growing 100%,” said Manish Tewari, CEO and cofounder, PiggyRide. “In the next six months, PiggyRide aims to touch 5,000 rides a day with a presence in three cities,” he said.
