PlayShifu, which is an AR technology startup based out of Bangalore and America has secured $7 Million in the funding round of Series A led by the Inventus Capital, Bharat Innovation Fund, and Chiratae Ventures. While some of the existing investors IDFC Parampara Fund was also a part of the round.
The startup will also be going to use the funds for the expansion of its tech process with its aggressive strategic plan.
PlayShifu was founded in the year 2016 by the Dinesh Advani and Vivek Goyal. The platform even creates engaging and immersive Augmented Reality experiences for children that encourage early STEM skills.
“We now have the tools at our disposal to execute against an even more impactful retail strategy and presence, while we continue to strengthen our position as the segment leader and disruptor in the early learning space,” added Advani.
PlayShifu’s first flagship product, Shifu Orboot is an AR-based globe that promises an adventure across the globe.
