Quick Heal Technologies, which is a Pune based digital security solution provider, has now invested $300000 deal to acquire the 15927 shares in a Tel Aviv headquartered Start-up L7 Defense.
The all-cash deal, which is going to be completed by the 2nd of November, will be going via an automatic overseas direct investment route. The company, as of now, did not disclose the stake in percentage terms that it will hold in the L7 Defense after the completion of the transaction.
“This strategic investment will enable Quick Heal to deliver NG-WAF and API Security to enterprise customers by leveraging L7 Defense’s proprietary technology,” said Kailash Katkar, managing director and chief executive officer of Quick Heal in a statement.
L7 Defense is having its specialization in the next generation web application firewall and application program interface security solutions against the Botnet and distributed denial of service attacks. It offers the cybersecurity services via its ML and AI-based platform, Ammune.
