Rimac has officially unveiled the full story behind the Nevera R Founder’s Edition, an ultra-exclusive series limited to just ten cars worldwide. Introduced quietly to a handpicked group of clients earlier this year, every slot was spoken for in under a week. That speed wasn’t driven by hype or artificial scarcity. It was driven by something far more compelling: access.
Because the Founder’s Edition is not positioned as a more expensive trim or a special paint job. It’s framed as an invitation into Rimac itself. The car is merely the entry point. Ownership opens the door to a private network of influence, collaboration, and direct connection with the people building the future of electric hypercars.
A Personal Beginning, Led by the Founder
Each Founder’s Edition journey starts at the Rimac Campus in Zagreb. There’s no showroom script, no traditional sales process. Instead, owners sit down directly with Mate Rimac, Design Director Frank Heyl, and the core design team.
Using advanced V-RED visualization tools, every element of the car is shaped live. Paint tones, interior materials, finishes, and detailing evolve in real time on screen. This isn’t about ticking boxes from a catalog. It’s a slow, deliberate process built around conversation, intent, and personal expression, with the aim of turning an owner’s story into something tangible.
Design With Purpose, Not Noise
All ten Founder’s Edition cars share a defining visual foundation. A bold two-tone exterior runs the length of the car, following its natural surfaces rather than overpowering them. The color split visually lowers the body and enhances the forward-leaning stance, reinforcing performance without resorting to loud graphics.
A paper-thin stripe runs along the roof, tapering down to just two millimeters at its narrowest point. Within it are subtle references to Rimac’s identity, including circuit-inspired patterns and the brand’s signature cravat motif. Inside, bespoke embroidery highlights three key milestones in Rimac’s journey, from its early garage days to the Nevera’s record-setting era. Even the cabin layout carries meaning, with an asymmetrical seating arrangement inspired by Mate Rimac’s own car.
Ownership That Extends Beyond the Car
Founder’s Edition customers automatically become members of an extremely private Founder’s Club. Membership brings early access to upcoming products, invitations to performance demonstrations and record-breaking runs, and direct entry to Bugatti Rimac headquarters via a dedicated company access card.
More significantly, owners are invited into select strategy and development discussions, giving them a voice in shaping future vehicles. Not every benefit is publicly disclosed. Rimac confirms only that the complete scope of access is known solely to the ten Founders.
Extreme Performance Remains the Foundation
At its core, the Founder’s Edition is still the Nevera R. Designed to move the Nevera from Hyper GT territory into full Hyper Sportscar mode, it delivers 2,107 horsepower through four independently controlled electric motors and an advanced torque vectoring system.
The results are staggering. A 0–60 mph time of just 1.66 seconds, a top speed of 431.45 km/h, and 24 verified world performance records set in 2025 alone. The car has also earned a Red Dot Award for Product Design.
Each Founder’s Edition example is hand-assembled over several months, finished with bespoke details, then personally delivered by Mate Rimac himself. Ownership concludes its beginning phase with tailored driver training conducted by Rimac’s professional test team.
The message from Rimac is unmistakable. The future of the hypercar isn’t defined solely by speed or electrification. It’s defined by connection, collaboration, and cars that feel genuinely personal.
