Finally, the time has arrived, the wait is over as Samsung has started unpacking the much-anticipated phone Samsung Galaxy S8. Watch it live here:
Galaxy S8 series uses a 2960×1440 resolution for what Samsung calls WQHD+. This results in 568 pixels-per-inch on the 5.8-inch Galaxy S8, and 531 pixels-per-inch on the 6.2-inch Galaxy S8+.
The phone has 8MP Front camera and Dual pixel 12 MP rear camera. The Autofocus Front Camera quickly detects your face to take perfect selfies in any conditions and yes, you now have multiple options to open the phone lock with a fingerprint or an eye scanner- Iris.
The Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be available starting on April 21 for Rs. 56,000- Rs. 63,000 (€799-€899), and will be offered in a rich color palette including Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Arctic Silver, Coral Blue and Maple Gold. The phone is waterproof and safe up to 1.5m and up to 30min, it is dust resistant as well!
The company has provided a more efficient processor for faster downloads, longer battery life and yes wasted energy.
