Czech automaker Skoda has globally introduced the revamped 2025 Enyaq electric crossover, boasting significant upgrades in design, features, and performance. The new model, available in both SUV and Coupe versions, aligns with Skoda’s modern design philosophy and commitment to sustainable mobility.
The 2025 Enyaq features a refreshed exterior with a focus on aerodynamics, resulting in a sleeker look and improved range. Subtle dimensional changes add to its road presence, with the SUV now measuring 4,658 mm in length and 1,622 mm in height. The Coupe also grows slightly, maintaining the elegance of its predecessor while adding a fresh touch.
A Striking New Identity
The redesigned front end embodies Skoda’s new ‘Modern Solid’ design language, marked by a split headlight setup and a striking Tech-Deck Face. This close-off grille cleverly conceals radar sensors and a front camera while sporting a bold illuminated light band. In line with Skoda’s rebranding, the iconic logo has been replaced with lettering, creating a contemporary aesthetic.
New color options, including the metallic Olibo Green, add to the Enyaq’s visual appeal. The rear gets minor updates, and wheel sizes now range from 19 to 21 inches, emphasizing the crossover’s sporty character.
A Minimalist Yet Premium Cabin
Inside, the Enyaq’s cabin echoes the clean, minimalist designs of the latest Superb and Octavia models. A 13-inch infotainment touchscreen takes center stage, complemented by a compact 5-inch driver’s display. The dashboard is free of clutter, with essential switches and a new Skoda-lettered steering wheel enhancing the upscale feel.
The Enyaq offers six distinct interior trims—Loft, Lodge, Lounge, Eco Suite, Suite, and Sportline—all made using sustainable materials like microfiber and artificial leather. The SUV’s boot space ranges from 585 to 1,710 liters, while the Coupe offers a slightly smaller capacity of 570 to 1,610 liters.
Enhanced Features and Smarter Technology
Skoda has packed the 2025 Enyaq with advanced features, many of which now come as standard. These include walk-away locking, three-zone climate control, front heated seats, and a tow bar. The crossover also introduces new technology like remote park assist, allowing users to park the vehicle remotely using a smartphone app.
The updated MySkoda app provides enhanced functionality, while a heads-up display and 45W USB Type-C ports ensure a tech-forward experience. Safety is a priority with upgraded Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including side assist and crew protect assist.
Improved Powertrains and Charging Options
The Enyaq is available with two battery options—63 kWh and 82 kWh—offered in both single and dual-motor configurations. The range varies by trim, with the base model delivering up to 430 km, while the top-spec Coupe can achieve up to 590 km. Power output ranges from 204 PS to 286 PS, with top speeds of up to 180 kmph.
Charging capabilities include DC fast charging up to 175 kW, allowing the larger battery pack to charge from 10% to 80% in just 28 minutes. Standard 11 kW wall box charging ensures convenient home charging options.
Global and Indian Market Prospects
Priced from €44,000 (around ₹38.88 lakh) in Europe, the 2025 Skoda Enyaq competes with models like the Audi Q4 e-tron and Tesla Model Y globally. In India, it is expected to launch later this year, priced between ₹55 lakh and ₹65 lakh. The Enyaq will rival the Kia EV6, Mercedes-Benz EQA, BMW iX1, and Volvo C40 Recharge, offering Indian buyers a premium and sustainable electric option.
With its enhanced range, cutting-edge technology, and stylish design, the 2025 Skoda Enyaq sets a new benchmark for electric crossovers.
