Do you own the Samsung Galaxy A series phone or are you planning to get one? So the really exciting news is that there is a fantastic new feature coming your way soon. As one of the most impressive elements of Galaxy AI, Circle to Search will be available on the four A-series smartphones after they are updated with a software patch.

What is Circle to Search?

Suppose for a moment that you are browsing your smartphone one day and come across an interesting picture – perhaps it’s a stylish jacket or a peculiar animal that you’ve never seen before.

And, you are interested in knowing more about it.

Instead of going through numerous steps like opening Google, typing in a description, and searching through the results, Samsung’s Circle to Search feature allows you to bypass all that. You just have to circle or underline the item on the screen.

This feature will use Artificial Intelligence to make a simple image-based search on Google and provide the information on the go without any effort.

Which Phones Received the Update?

This super handy feature is not limited to the Galaxy S24 series only even though Samsung introduced it with the release of the same. It is coming to the Samsung Galaxy A55, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A35, and Galaxy A34.

These phones are popular due to their low cost, and as you are going to learn shortly, they are going to be even more beneficial in the future. Don’t feel like you’re going to be stuck in the tech wilderness—you don’t need any IT knowledge to navigate this feature; it is exactly as straightforward as it sounds and can be used by anyone.

Why This Update Is Significant

Recently, Samsung has been making aggressive movements in AI technology and they are now expanding that technology, not only to the new Samsung users who can afford a new Samsung phone, but also to the common mass. TM Roh, the president of Samsung and head of mobile experience, says that the company seeks to become enablers, providing consumers with the tools to work smarter, create new things and to enable the consumer to have a more customized relationship with their Samsung devices.

What’s the Catch?

Of course, as a welcome addition, Circle to Search is there but one must understand that the A series phones are not as powerful as you would expect with the likes of the S or the Note series. What this means is that, while you will be enjoying this particular excellent feature, other even superior tools in the Galaxy AI selection may not be implemented to the A series due to the fact that the Augmented processors of the models are not as powerful as those in the more flagged Samsung devices.

When can I expect the update?

Samsung is going to commence the Circle to Search feature to users in the August month. But, as they always say, good things are worth waiting for. You may not see the update in your region right away, so do not panic if you do not see it yet. It’s on its way! Well, if you are also using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE or Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, there is some good news too. These tablets shall also be subjected to this update although after the A series phones have been handled.

Wrapping It Up

Well, there you have it – four budget Samsung Galaxy A series phones are going to get one of the top-tier features on the high-end models.
