Jamie Beaumont joins Ultima as CFO with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, growth businesses and AI technology.
Ultima, the leading AI powered technology provider for UK business, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jamie Beaumont as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective from Monday 1st July 2024. Jamie will assume the CFO role immediately and will be responsible for overseeing Ultima’s financial strategy, planning, reporting and operations.
Jamie brings a wealth of experience in finance, mergers and acquisitions, strategy and corporate development. He has advised and worked with clients and businesses across a range of industries, including residential property, furniture, AI and speech recognition.
A graduate of Oxford University, Jamie started his career at PwC, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and spent four years as an adviser in mergers and acquisitions. He then joined David Phillips Furniture, the leading provider of furniture and related services to the residential property sector, where he led the business to double turnover and treble profitability through organic and acquisitive growth and MBO with FPE (formerly Fleming Family and Partners).
After David Phillips, Jamie moved to LSL Property Services plc, where he developed and oversaw their acquisition strategy and corporate development. After LSL, he moved to Tangent Communications PLC, a digital media business, where he helped take the business private and to restructure for growth. Most recently, Jamie was the COO for an AI company building speech recognition technology designed for children, which was successfully acquired in November 2023.
