India’s healthcare system is undergoing a major shift, moving rapidly from fragmented, offline workflows toward a more digitised, interoperable, and compliance-ready ecosystem. Riding this wave of transformation, Zealthix, a health-focused SaaS platform, has raised $1.1 million in seed funding. The round was led by Unicorn India Ventures, with participation from AlphaGen Venture Capital.
The company plans to channel the fresh capital into expansion, revenue growth, and strengthening its technology stack, all with the goal of creating a streamlined healthcare SaaS infrastructure for providers and payers across India.

Investor Lens: A ‘Golden Phase’ for Healthcare SaaS
According to Anil Joshi, Managing Partner at Unicorn India Ventures, healthcare SaaS in India is entering a golden phase. Advances in cloud computing, AI-driven automation, and rising adoption among providers and payers are helping build what he calls a “robust, scalable healthcare ecosystem.”
He added that Zealthix has shown significant progress over the past year by developing new solutions, and with its certifications and market focus, it is well-positioned to capture a large slice of the expanding opportunity.
Certifications That Matter
One of Zealthix’s biggest differentiators lies in its regulatory and interoperability certifications.
-
The company is certified by the National Health Authority (NHA) as a connector, enabling providers using its platform to become ABDM-compliant. This ensures interoperability with India’s growing digital health stack.
-
Zealthix also claims to be the first platform certified by ONDC for the Healthcare Seller Node. This positions the company to “democratize healthcare service distribution in India,” by allowing services to be discoverable and accessible across ONDC’s nationwide digital commerce network.
These milestones are more than badges of compliance—they are strategic enablers that allow Zealthix to act as infrastructure rather than just a software vendor.
The Provider Platform: Making Healthcare Businesses Tech-Ready
Beyond compliance, Zealthix is building a comprehensive provider-focused platform aimed at making healthcare businesses “technology ready.” The platform leverages AI and automation to handle:
-
Partner and contract management
-
Payments and reconciliation
-
Customer engagement
-
Compliance tracking
-
Data digitisation and reporting
By addressing these core operational bottlenecks, Zealthix helps providers focus more on patient care while maintaining compliance with national standards.
Product Roadmap: Expanding OPD Stack and Payer Tooling
Over the next 12 months, Zealthix plans to double down on outreach to health providers, studying pain points in their workflows and tailoring solutions to boost efficiency, digitisation, and interoperability.
On the payer side, Zealthix’s roadmap is ambitious. Its Outpatient Department (OPD) stack will be expanded to cover more use cases. A key promise here is enabling payers to configure and launch health products quickly, backed by built-in analytics to track sales, utilisation, and renewals.
With pre-built, customisable tools, the company aims to significantly reduce the time and complexity involved in launching new health offerings.
Leadership Speaks
Abhishek Kumar, Co-founder and CEO of Zealthix, brings with him prior category-building experience from ventures like BeatO and BookMyCab. He emphasises that Zealthix is on a mission to fix broken, offline workflows that slow down both patient care and provider operations.
By bridging compliance, automation, and interoperability, Kumar believes Zealthix is uniquely placed to redefine how healthcare SaaS integrates into the broader Indian health ecosystem.

The Bigger Picture: Core Infrastructure for Indian Healthcare
India’s Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) is pushing the country’s healthcare system onto digital rails. In this context, startups like Zealthix—those that bring compliance, interoperability, and measurable ROI—are set to become not just vendors but core infrastructure providers.
Zealthix’s dual focus on providers (efficiency, compliance, digitisation) and payers (configurable, data-driven product launches) gives it a holistic edge. With fresh funding, robust certifications, and a strong product roadmap, Zealthix is aiming to position itself at the center of India’s healthcare SaaS revolution.
