MUMBAI: Data analytics platform Realbox has raised $300,000 in Pre-Series A funding in a round led by Hyderabad Angels.
The funding round also saw participation from Alok Mittal, Dharamveer Singh Chouhan, and Shubranshu Pani.
He company plans to use the fresh capital to boost the company’s idea of a ‘smart store’ that would cater to its growth and management.
According to reports by Inc42, Saurabh Moody, co-founder and CEO, Realbox said, “Our mission is to make offline businesses intelligent. With the investment on board and enhanced capacity, in addition to the large corporate clients that we currently serve, we are targetting to introduce “Smart Store” to over 5,000 outlets including movie theaters, retail, and hospitality businesses in the next 18 months.”
Realbox was founded in April 2015 by Saurabh Moody, Arjun Sudhanshu, and Preksha Kaparwan. The company helps restaurants create profiles of their customers by whipping reservation data, point-of-sale, and other basic information into a soufflé of delicious CRM.
