Pine Labs Pvt. Ltd has appointed former Vodafone CEO Arun Sarin and Visa Global Head of Commercial Business Vicky Bindra as members of its board.

Pine Labs payment solutions ensures faster and reliable transactions, with multiple connectivity channels to all acquirers.

Rajul Garg founded Pine Labs in in 1998 and it provides payment and loyalty solutions to retailers. The Sequoia Capital-backed firm is led by CEO Lokvir Kapoor. Last year, it began operations in Southeast Asia.

Pine Labs payment solutions simplify acceptance of all kinds of payments at POS (Credit/Debit Cards, EMI, Reward Points, Gift Vouchers, e-Wallet etc.)

Sarin led Vodafone between 2003 and 2008. Most recently, he joined the board of caller ID app Truecaller. He is also on the boards of Ola Cabs, Cisco Systems, Accenture, Charles Schwab & Co and Blackhawk Networks.

“Pine Labs’ loyalty and installments at POS (points of sale) in India is of significant value to the merchant, consumer and issuer. It is now poised to take this internationally,” said Bindra.

Bindra brings with him expertise of the payments industry. Prior to Visa, he headed the Asia Pacific and global accounts at MasterCard Worldwide.
