24 May 2016, GURGAON: Online marketplace Snapdeal Chief Product Officer Anand Chandrasekaran quits the company, less than a year of joining.
Chandrasekaran joined Snapdeal in June 2015.
The news started surfacing around after Snapdeal’s co-founder Rohit Bansal tweeted, “Proud of the super work by you and the product team. Hard to believe that this was just 1 yr. Farewell, keep rocking!”

According to sources and reports by Business Insider, “Anand has done some stellar work on the product side at Snapdeal. His insights and attention to detail have helped us traverse quickly towards launching and improving products at Snapdeal. We wish Anand the very best for his entrepreneurial journey ahead.”
Chandrasekaran completed B.E in Electronics & Communications Engineering and holds dual M.S degree in electrical engineering and management science respectively. He was awarded Young Global Leader at World Economic Forum. Prior joining Snapdeal, Chandrasekaran was Chief Product Officer at Airtel. Before that, he has experience working with Yahoo, Yodlee.
