11 February, 2016, India: In order to spread its operations, JoulestoWatts has acquired an undisclosed amount of funding from Saha Fund and Manipal Global Education Services Ltd. The company has raised the amount in its pre-series A funding round.

Recently ventured into the market in 2015, it deals in providing business solution and consultancy to its clients. Founded by Priti Sawant, the company excels in providing GIC consulting & solutions, IT solutions, talent collaboration solution and sales & process outsourcing, among other services.

In its official statement, company had announced to utilise funding in strengthening its team, enhancing its technology and to increase its business globally. Commenting on funding, Mohandas Pai, Chairman, Manipal Global Education said, “In the global war for talent, increasingly both corporates and extremely talented individuals are seeking the perfect fit on a just in time basis. As technology explodes in complexity, high quality talent in new technologies needs an individual identity and exciting opportunities to create a fast paced response to competitive needs.” Saha Fund was founded by Ankita Vashistha, invests in companies run by women and seeks to promote women in startups.
