21 March, 2016, USA: The social networking site, Twitter has completed its 10 years in the row and in order to celebrate its grand success, the company is sending series of ‘Thank You Note’ through email, videos etc. to its users.

The company which rolled out its operations 10 years back, has also introduced a new hashtag ‘#LoveTwitter’ to let its users become the part of the celebration. Since the time Twitter unveiled the hashtag, it has gone viral and has been trending from quite a while.

Twitter’s official handles from different countries are sending the mails and tweeting videos as the day turns March 21 in that country’s time zone. The Twitter India handle posted 10 iconic moments on Twitter in India. The iconic moments marked events as Mars Orbiter, Rajinikanth’s debut on Twitter, and Sachin Tendulkar’s retirement. The company also posted a blog about its 10 year journey in the country, reports India Today.

Apart from that, the company has done few tweaks on the sites to make it look special on this auspicious day. For instance, if any user likes a particular tweet, the heart jumps with spreading confetti around. It looks like that these tweaks will stay on for today and from tomorrow, the site will go on a normal mode. Apple CEO Tim Cook was one of the many famous personalities on the micro blogging website to congratulate Jack Dorsey and Twitter on its birthday.

Happy 10th Birthday @jack and everyone @twitter! ??Thanks for giving all of us the ultimate megaphone.
