UrbanClap which is a home services marketplace today, revealed that it had received funding from the Avaana Capital, Sachin Bansal and Mekin Maheshwari.
With the help of this new investment, Bansal and Maheshwari join Urbanclap and some other angel investors Ratan Tata, Kalyan Krishnamurthy, according to the report which has been revealed.
“Mekin played a pivotal role in building technology that accelerated e-commerce adoption in India… Anjali’s deep experience working with the boards of public and private organizations will help UrbanClap evolve into a long term sustainable organisation,” UrbanClap co-founder Raghav Chandra said.
UrbanClap is backed by the investors like the SAIF Capital, SteadView Capital, Accel, Bessemer Venture Partners, and VY Capital. It as of now has more than 20000 individual service professionals on its platform across the categories such as the plumbing, appliance servicing & repair, and beauty.
