Indian e-commerce company for baby products, BabyOye, has been acquired by Mahindra Internet Commerce.

Mahindra Group runs one of the country’s largest offline stores chain for baby and infant products. Babyoye.com is run by Nest Childcare Services Pvt Ltd.

Anand Mahindra, chairman and managing director, Mahindra Group tweeted about the acquisition.

Sanjay Nadkarni, founder of Babyoye also tweeted.

Launched in September 2010 – BabyOye is India’s first online store for baby-care and maternity products and services.

BabyOye was found in December 2010 by its CEO & Co-Founder Sanjay Nadkarni along with Arunima Singhdeo. In April 2013, it had acquired its rival baby products etailer Hoopos.
