All new 2023 Audi E-Tron is the updated version of the Audi E-Tron that will be on sale by late 2022. The Audi E-Tron is almost three years old and needs a redo, to stay in the competition that keeps increasing every year. This is not just a facelift for the vehicle but some major changes are to be included.

The all-new Audi E-Tron is going to have a battery capacity of 373 miles per charge. The other facelift would include redesigned headlights, an updated bumper, and a new grill. The news first came along as Audi CEO Markus Duesmann revealed it during the annual press conference 2021 in March. He said, “Our Ingolstadt site is in the midst of preparing for the production of all-electric models. Remodeling includes, for instance, a conversion of the old A3 body-in-white into the PPE body-in-white facility. The first all-electric model to roll off the assembly lines from 2022 is the (Audi) Q6 e-Tron.”

The testing of spy features has begun and the vehicle was seen being tested. The company suggests that the original vehicle will be much bigger than the one that is being tested. Similar to China Q5 E-Tron, the vehicle that is being tested is a smaller version. It is stated to be “an elegantly dominating front fascia, raked A-pillars, a swiftly sloping roofline, and a hunched rear section.” The single frame of the vehicle would conceal many sensors that are attached at the front end.

Other details

These spy features that are to be added will make the vehicle a bit curvier and softer. It shows a wider quarter glass size as the update comes along. This would give rear-seat passengers more sunlight and space. It is reported that they will also have a couple-style version named Audi Q6 Sportback e-Tron. The pictures of this Sportback version are yet to be revealed. The next-generation Porsche and Q6 E-Tron will be riding on the new platform named Premium Platform Electric which is being developed jointly. With this, the future model’s design path is set for the upcoming electric fleet.

The upcoming updates should keep the E-Tron fresh until it is redesigned around the middle of the decade on a dedicated electric-vehicle platform, at which point it may be rebranded as a Q8 E-Tron. Other Audi EVs due in the coming years include a Q6 E-Tron, A6 E-Tron, and a production version of the Grandsphere concept that may just replace the A8. And beyond 2026, Audi will only introduce EVs.
