Dr. DisRespect revealed early in the year that his AAA studio is developing an ‘Extraction Shooter’. Last year, Dr. Disrespect, announced the formation of an AAA gaming studio, along with Robert Bowling, former Creative Strategist for Call of Duty, and Quinn Delhoyo, Multiplayer Designer for Halo 5. I am still fascinated with Project Moon, the game being made by streamer Dr. Disrespects self-proclaimed AAA studio, Midnight Society, that includes heavy-hitters from the industry such as Call of Duty’s Robert Bowling.
Little is really known about his first game coming out, except it is going to be a free-to-play multiplayer FPS made in Unreal Engine 5. Dr. Disrespect’s AAA Studio has revealed a few details in the blog posts that read, Our first game, Project Moon, is an Extraction Shooter. The studio, called Midnight Society, continues to sell beta access for their first upcoming game, as a $50 founders pass, that comes with an NFT generated by the process you can use as an avatar in-game. In what they call transparent development, Midnight Society is giving its founders a non-standard role in Project Moon. Dr. Disrespects self-proclaimed AAA studio, Midnight Society includes heavy-hitters from the industry such as Call of Duty Robert Bowling.
The blog post goes on to discuss the inaugural Founders Event, which will be held on July 29th in Los Angeles, promising a special time for the studio, game, and Founders Pass holders. The studio will also stream from the first Founders Event to their Discord, as well as to Dr. Disrespects YouTube, for players and fans unable to attend in-person, but looking to participate. The triple-A sports studio continues to push for beta access for their upcoming debut sports title, within the form of the $50 Founders Cross, that comes complete with a procedurally generated NFT to act as your avatar in-game.
