About Espurr
Espurr is known to be an adorable but slightly creepy Psychic-type kitten from Generation VI that is one of the most distinguished Pokémon. You will recognize it by the Poker face it maintains and may be considered a bit weird for that reason. Its Pokedex entries say it’s actually in a constant, frantic struggle to contain immense psychic power, which is really kinda cool. The power is immense, which is strong enough to blast a 300-foot radius, sealed away by keeping its large ears folded over yellow organs. If the power builds up too much within its own self, it can actually fall unconscious. It evolves into Meowstic, another amazing Pokémon, which has different forms based on its gender. It is silent and deadly, so watch out for it!
Where is Espurr found?
The location of Espurr is different in different games, and you will have to look into it accordingly. In the original Pokémon X and Y, you can find it wandering on Route 6. However, if you’re playing Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you should be looking in the Wild Zones, specifically Wild Zone 3 and Wild Zone 9. Finally, for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet with the Indigo Disk DLC, check the Coastal Biome, which is its abode in that very game. You are recommended to particularly the bottom-right part around the Coastal Rest Area. However, there’s a catch in Legends: Z-A! It can teleport away if you’re not careful enough.
Steps to evolve Espurr
The evolved form of Espurr is really cute and adorable, and mind you, strong like anything! So, here are the steps that you’ll need to make it jump to that stage.
Level Up till 25
There is a certain level that you need to acquire to reach level 25. Your work will be almost done in a matter of minutes once you reach that very level. If you think you need an item to facilitate the process, well, you don’t.
Check the Gender
Espurr’s evolution, Meowstic, is different in both genders. It has two very distinct forms and movesets, which vary with the gender of the Pokémon.
- A Male Espurr will evolve into a blue Male Meowstic, which has a stronger defense and learns supportive moves like Prankster and defensive screens.
- A Female Espurr will evolve into a white Female Meowstic, which is more offensively trained and learns powerful attacking moves, and can be super ferocious in a battle.
So, if you want to evolve your Espurr into Meowstic, reaching that level will, for now, do the job. No matter which version of the game you play, you will have a good time with Espurr and Meowstic!
