Mega Dragonite is one of the tougher opponents you can face in Pokémon Legends: Z-A during its Rogue Mega battle. Its typing and high stats make the battle dangerous. The fight becomes easier when you bring the right Pokémon. Good positioning and timing are just as important as damage.
Where to Find Mega Dragonite
The Rogue Mega Dragonite encounter takes place during Main Mission 32 in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. You should have a developed team before starting it. Mega Dragonite is around Level 53, as a Rogue Mega Evolution.

How to Beat Mega Dragonite
The most important part of this fight is using Mega Evolution effectively. Rogue Mega battles are designed around Mega Evolution, and failing to use it can make the encounter much longer and more difficult.
Start by sending out a Pokémon that can exploit Mega Dragonite’s weakness. If you have Mega Froslass, it is an excellent opening choice because its Ice attacks can hit extremely hard.
Do not rush into attacks without watching Dragonite’s movements. Rogue Mega Pokémon can put serious pressure on your team, so create openings instead of repeatedly attacking while exposed. Use your strongest Ice, Fairy, or Electric attacks.
You should also avoid relying on a Pokémon that has a poor defensive matchup simply because it can deal super-effective damage. A fainted attacker cannot help you finish the battle. Switching when necessary is better than allowing your strongest counter to fall early.
Keep your Mega Pokémon active when possible. Mega Evolution makes the encounter much easier.

What You Get After the Fight
Defeating Rogue Mega Dragonite gives you Dragoninite, the Mega Stone for Dragonite. To obtain Dragonite, you can raise Dratini through its evolution line, with Dratini evolving into Dragonair at Level 30 and Dragonair evolving into Dragonite at Level 55.
Once you have both, you can Mega Evolve Dragonite during battle when enough Mega Power is available.
