Big Walk has more than one ending, and the first set of credits does not mean your journey is finished. The secret ending, also known as the true ending, is tied to completing the game fully.
How Many Endings Does Big Walk Have?
Big Walk has two endings: Big Goodbye and Big Game. They are not separate choices, so you do not need a new game or a different path. Instead, the endings happen one after another on the same save.
The first ending is Big Goodbye. The second is Big Game, the secret or true ending. To unlock Big Game, you need to finish the remaining challenges after seeing the first credits.
Finish The Normal Ending First
You cannot unlock the secret ending immediately. First, complete the main progression of Big Walk.
Work through the four colored towers:
- Red Tower
- Green Tower
- Blue Tower
- Yellow Tower
After completing the required tower objectives, progress toward the Black Tower and obtain the Black Key. This key allows you to open the Wall and continue toward the huge Black Sphere.
The Black Sphere contains the final puzzles for the normal route. Complete these challenges, leave the sphere, and follow the path toward the ending area. At the building near the water, wave goodbye and enter to trigger Big Goodbye.
Once the credits play, do not assume the game is over. This is where the road to the secret ending begins.
Complete The Seven Purple Puzzles
After the first ending, Big Walk unlocks seven Purple Puzzles. These additional challenges become available only after reaching the normal ending.
The Purple Puzzles are harder variations of challenges you have already encountered. They test your group’s communication and teamwork again.
You also need to finish any normal puzzles you skipped earlier. The secret ending requires full completion, meaning the Purple Puzzles alone are not enough.
A useful checklist is:
- Finish every unfinished normal puzzle.
- Complete all seven Purple Puzzles.
- Collect the rewards from the completed challenges.
- Make sure your completion progress is finished.
You can return and clean up unfinished content after the first ending.
Find The White Key
Once every required puzzle has been completed, the game rewards you with the White Key.
Take the White Key toward the starting area. Look for the broken Black Sphere near the tutorial or spawn area.
If you cannot find the White Key, check your puzzle progress again. A missing puzzle or unfinished challenge is usually the reason it has not appeared.
Enter The Secret Room
Use the White Key on the opening connected to the broken Black Sphere. This unlocks the route into the secret room.
Go inside and follow the short sequence there. The room contains messages that you need to read before the final part begins. After completing the sequence, a white opening appears.
Walk through it with your group to trigger Big Game, the true ending of Big Walk.
How To Know You Unlocked It
The clearest confirmation is that the Big Game achievement unlocks alongside the true ending. If it does not appear, something required for full completion is still missing.
Check these points:
- You have seen Big Goodbye.
- All regular puzzles are complete.
- All seven Purple Puzzles are complete.
- You collected the White Key.
- You entered the hidden room near the starting area.
- You completed the final sequence.
There is no alternate choice that unlocks Big Game; it is a completion reward.
