AI, gaming, automotive advancements, and futuristic appliances are among the key highlights expected this year. AI is expected to star at CES 2025, enhancing user experiences.

A New Era of GPUs and Devices

Gamers have a lot to look forward to, with AMD and Nvidia unveiling new GPUs and updates. Nvidia’s RTX 5090, part of the RTX 50 series, is expected to enhance ray tracing and upscaling. AMD’s RDNA4-based Radeons may offer more affordable choices for mid-range buyers.

The gaming laptop market is also heating up, with new devices powered by the latest hardware from Intel, AMD, and Nvidia. Additionally, the rise of gaming handhelds is notable. Lenovo is rumored to debut the next-gen Legion Go device, partnering with AMD, and could also reveal a SteamOS-powered handheld in collaboration with Valve.

Although the Nintendo Switch 2 has seen several leaks, it is not expected to make an appearance at CES.

AI and PCs

Laptop manufacturers such as Dell, Lenovo, Acer, and HP are showcasing devices powered by the newest processors. LG is introducing its 2025 Gram lineup with hybrid cloud and on-device AI capabilities. Asus has teased a slim laptop claiming 32-hour battery life, a bold leap in technology.

AI is also expected to feature prominently in other devices. While some applications might seem gimmicky, others aim to enhance user experience meaningfully. The integration of AI in laptops and other devices reflects the growing demand for smarter, more efficient tools. New laptops featuring AI-driven features and extended battery life highlight how AI is expected to star at CES 2025.

AI-Powered Smart Homes

AI is making its way into home appliances. Samsung is incorporating AI and touchscreens into its range of washers, dryers, ovens, and refrigerators. LG is exploring unique ideas like indoor horticulture solutions and multifunctional furniture, such as a lamp with an integrated projector and speaker. Household appliances featuring AI integration underline why AI is expected to star at CES 2025 this year.

Homeowners in North America can also expect new smart heat pump technology, catering to energy efficiency and environmental concerns.

Display innovations are a cornerstone of CES. Brighter OLEDs, advanced quantum dot tech, and massive 100-inch-plus TVs are expected. Manufacturers are also introducing flexible, rollable, and transparent displays, bringing futuristic concepts closer to reality.

Monitors are focusing on gaming, with higher refresh rates and OLED adoption. Smart glasses, AR headsets, and ambient displays are also on the horizon, with many integrating AI capabilities.

Samsung and Google have teased Eclipsa Audio for immersive 3D sound experiences, while new HDMI standards may pave the way for higher resolutions and refresh rates.

Autonomous Vehicles and Futuristic Concepts

The automotive sector continues to grow at CES. BMW will showcase its Panoramic iDrive display and Neue Klasse concepts. Honda’s 0 series EVs and the Sony-Honda Afeela smart car are also anticipated highlights. Hyundai Mobis will present a holographic windshield display, potentially revolutionizing car dashboards.

Drone and flying car demonstrations are likely to attract attention, while Toyota will update its “Woven City” project, addressing mobility on a larger scale.

AI is the overarching theme of CES 2025. From smart appliances to automotive systems, AI integration is reshaping tech industries. Generative AI is making its way into gaming and everyday devices, with applications spanning from laptops to productivity tools like the Nuwa Pen, which digitizes handwritten notes.
