Amica Financial Technologies, which is an upcoming digital retail bank founded by the Citrus Pay, Cofounder Jitendra Gupta, has now secured $24 million in its maiden funding round.
The funding is even backed by a long list of institutional investors, which includes the 3one4 Capital, Matrix Partners, Germany Rocket Internet, Sequoia Capital, Greyhound Capital, and others.
The Mumbai based startup, which was founded by the Vishnu along with the Gupta Jerome of law form Jerome Merchant and partners, has also brought on board some of the angel investors.
The venture offered the savings account, investment, and lending services to the salaried millennial population with an income demographic of INR 50000 and upwards, in partnership with a large private bank, who name has not yet been disclosed.
