8 January, 2016, Gurgaon: Recently launched a two wheeler taxi service provider, Bikxie raises an undisclosed angel funding. The company currently operates in Gurgaon and NCR region and it is planning to utilise the raised amount in its expansion, development of app and enhancing the marketing strategies.
It is a joint venture of Mohit Sharma, Divya Kalia and Dennis Ching. Founded in late 2015, company aims to provide a hassle free ride to the commuters. It also gives a more convenient and faster way of transport to the commuters and that to on a nominal price.
Sharing his opinions on investment, Mohit Sharma opined, “Now we are looking for bigger rounds of funding which will help us scale up faster to become the most preferred brand in the two-wheeler taxi segment.”
“Gurgaon continues to be plagued by issues related to the daily commute and especially last mile connectivity. We aim to eliminate these hassles by providing denizens with a fast, affordable and safe alternative to autos and rickshaws,” he adds.
