Boodmo, a Gurugram-headquartered auto parts marketplace founded by two Ukrainians – Yevgen Sokolnikov and Oleksandr Danylenko, has secured Rs. 7 crores from a Ukrainian private investment fund. The name of the investment fund has not been revealed yet.
With the help of the fresh capital, the startup is planning to boost its warehouse management systems so as to handle more inventory at the hubs and to ramp up the process of product delivery.
Boodmo has also raised Rs. 5 crores in FDI in August 2018. It has launched two sorting hubs in Jaipur and Delhi. Till now, it has received total funding of Rs. 27 crores, the company revealed in a press statement.
Launched in 2015, Boodmo currently provides about a million varieties of car spare parts by 400 suppliers of more than 3,000 Indians and international brands.
The spare parts that are available on the platform are sorted by the producers’ information and then filtered by customers’ choice. The new products on its website with their actual price lists appear on a real-time basis.
The platform sells spares like service parts, electrical components, brakes, suspension, lubricants, and others.
