CarDekho secured ₹132.25 cr in Series C funding

CarDekho, which is an online marketplace for the new and used cars based out of Jaipur has secured INR 133 crore as a part of its series C funding round led by the SC GG India Mobility Holdings LLC, while on the other hand, Kreatif Media Karya and Hillhouse also participated in the round.

According to the report, the portal has issues 23497 Series C compulsory preference shares on the 23rd of July, at a premium of INR 56575 per share.

The Co-Founder of Gaadi.com, Akansh Sinha, revealed that the CarDekho Group is even expected to double up its revenue to INR 700 crore during the current fiscal year from the INNR 360 last year.

CarDekho was founded by the Anurag Jain and Amit Jain in the year 2005. It offers a platform for the users to search for used and new cars along with providing them with detailed reviews to help them choose the right car.

The platform even claims to have a monthly traffic of around 75 million visitors, with more than 35 million monthly active users.
