DailyHunt which is a local language content and news aggregation platform, has now secured INR 21.15 crore from the Goldman Sachs. The latest funding is a part of a more extensive ongoing financing round.
DailyHunt which is owned and operated by the Bangalore based Verse Innovation, secured the capital last month, according to the report which has been revealed.
In the month of May this year, DailyHunt has secured $22 Million from Sofina SA, which is a Belgium based holding company that invests directly and indirectly in firms across the different sectors.
DailyHunt was launched as NewsHunt by the former executives Chandrashekhar and Umesh in the year 2009 and sold to the Ver Se Innovation in 2012. It was rebranded and renamed as DailyHunt in August 2015.
