The famous football player David Beckham is all set for his next endeavor. This time, he is jumping into the area of health and fitness with a fresh brand known as IM8. What’s even more awesome (or at least what I find super awesome) about this is that he is partnering with a former NASA chief scientist!
In fact, you should know that Beckham is not all about football and the stylish hair modern haircuts that seems popular nowadays. GT From football to advertising for Adidas, having his own line of whiskey called ‘Haig Club’, it can be said he has done it all. He established the ‘House 99’ fashion line in August last year, 2018. Also, he is the ambassador of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, has cooperation with companies such as Sands, Maserati, Panini, Guild eSports, etc.
Now that’s trending now he has decided to launch a wellness brand into his growing roster. That being said, there is a revelation made by the biotech company Prenetics this July 11th: Beckham is both an investor and a co-founder of IM8. Even in his statement, Beckham applauded the heart specialists, the nutritionists and fitness trainers who have seen him through to optimum fitness levels. He told me how comforting was their advice to help him navigate through the right path for his better health and well-being. Beckham also referred to Prenetics as an admirable organization, specifically noting that they are a forward-thinking company.
Details about IM8 are yet in the closed domains only but yes, it has been designed with the support from a ousted NASA chief scientist. The involvement of Beckham was dubbed as ‘The New Era’ by the CEO and co-founder of Prenetics, Danny Yeung where Beckham reflects disciplined personality having strong team skills and is very health conscious. Yeung also opines that they stand a great chance of upsetting the very annoyed market if they properly cultivate the consumer health and wellness business.
Beckham has also been socializing with Dennis Lo, a director at Prenetics and the latter is a shareholder too. He was the one who first identified non invasive prenatal diagnostic test in 1997 and now he is involved in the identification of cancer in early stages. When Beckham saw the creations of Professor Lo, he was blown away and could already anticipate the possibilities for future collaboration.
Okay, let’s look at what we are likely to see from IM8 then. Okay, for now, we just wait for more details as we wait for the full story behind this statement. But one thing is certain – be it fragrances, shoes, or football, Beckham means business. You can follow them on Instagram and check for updates on their page to know more updates.
Until then, however, a pause calls for reflection on the fact that Beckham still finds ways to adapt and evolve. Whether it is a football pitch or fashion ramp, beer cans or the best Scotch, brands or products for a healthy life, this man has done it all.
So when you have self-styled celebrity and football superstar David Beckham and a former NASA scientist as passengers, it has to be quite an adventure.
