Drone Data Science startup WeDoSky has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Mumbai Angels Network. The startup was bootstrapping from 2 years.
The capital raised will be used by startup for expansion of Visual AI. Visual AI is a solution to convert aerial images taken by UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) into geo-referenced 2D or 3D models – to integrate solutions for agriculture, infrastructure and insurance industries.

Mumbai Angels Network is one of the largest networks of India. It has more than 250 members across Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Bangalore. Its portfolio compromise more than 960 ventures across multiple sectors focused primarily on seed and early stage companies.
WeDoSky was founded by Jaspreet Makkar in August 2014. It is a data science company. It provides business insights using drone imagery to firms in mining, construction and energy sectors, among others.
The company counts titans like Adani Enterprises, Azure Power, Tata Power, ACC Cement amongst its many clients.
