29 March, 2016, Chennai: FixNix Inc. has managed to pump US $500k funding in its Pre-Series A round. The round was headed by Jay Vijayan, Chief Information Officer, Tesla and followed by four other investors from Singapore and San Francisco.
FixNix, Chennai based company which has its headquarter in USA is a Service (SaaS)-based governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solution for SMBs and enterprises for automating complex information security workflows like Audit, Risk, Policy, Incident and Asset, etc. After raising the aforementioned amount, the company is in talking terms to raise additional US $1 million through private placement and strategic investors. FixNix plans to utilise the fresh funds in enhancing their GRC analytics.
Now, Vijayan will join the company’s board as its advisory council to render his assistance in planning the company’s strategy, vision, execution, growth & direction. According to the recent development, FixNix is planning to switch its core operational base from USA to Chennai. It will be also strengthening its team of full time senior engineers.
