Amir Khan backed Furlenco raises ₹10 crore in Debt Funding

Amir Khan backed Furlenco has raised ₹10 crore ($1.5 million) in a debt funding round from a consortium of HNI investors.

The development was first reported by Paper.vc.

According to MCA filings, the HNI who particpiated in the debt funding round includes Rekha Hrishikesh Mafatlal (Arvind Mafatlal Group), Lakshmi Narayanan – Ex-Vice Chairman of Cognizant, and M Krishna Sindhuri Private Trust (Trust in the name of Hetero Group Chairman Bandi Parthasaradhi Reddy’s deceased daughter Krishna Sindhuri).

In December 2017, the company raised $300k in funding from Amir Khan. According to Chrunchbase report, the company has so far raised $37.8 million in funding. The company has raised money from Kris Gopalakrishnan’s Pratithi Trust, Lightbox Venture Partners and Trifecta Capital among others.

Furlenco was founded by Ajith Karimpana in 2011. It is an online furniture renting portal. The company offers a range of curated home furniture experiences, designed to suit the lifestyle needs of varied audiences spanning students to families and expatriates.
