Riding the Enterprise AI Wave
The demand for enterprise AI agents has surged in recent years, driven by advancements in natural language processing and automation. Gnani.ai is positioning itself at the forefront of this shift with its voice-first approach.
The company processes over 30 million voice interactions daily across more than 12 languages, serving over 200 enterprise clients—including several Fortune 500 companies. This scale highlights how voice AI is moving from experimental deployments to mission-critical infrastructure for businesses.
From banking and financial services (BFSI) to telecom and government sectors, Gnani.ai’s solutions are helping organizations streamline communication, improve accessibility, and deliver more personalized user experiences.
Building the Next Generation of Voice Models
A key highlight of Gnani.ai’s recent progress is its push into foundational AI models tailored for voice. The startup recently launched Inya VoiceOS, a 5-billion-parameter voice-to-voice model designed to handle real-time conversational interactions.
In addition, it introduced Vachana STT (speech-to-text) and Vachana TTS (text-to-speech) models trained on large-scale Indic language datasets. These innovations are particularly significant in a diverse market like India, where multilingual capabilities are essential.
By focusing on Indic languages and voice-first interfaces, Gnani.ai is addressing a critical gap—bringing AI access to users who may not be comfortable with text-based systems.
Part of India’s Sovereign AI Push
Gnani.ai is also playing a strategic role in India’s broader push for sovereign AI capabilities. It is among a select group of startups chosen under the Government of India’s AI Mission to build foundational models that are developed, deployed, and governed within the country.
At the India AI Impact Summit, India unveiled three sovereign AI models, reinforcing its ambition to reduce dependence on global AI infrastructure and create homegrown alternatives.
Alongside Sarvam AI and the BharatGen initiative led by Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Gnani.ai is contributing to the development of large language and voice models that cater specifically to Indian needs.
Global Expansion on the Horizon
While India remains a key market, Gnani.ai is increasingly looking outward. Over the past year, the company has added more than 120 new customers and expanded into international markets such as Japan, East Asia, the Middle East, and the United States.
This global push reflects a broader trend: enterprise AI solutions are becoming borderless, with companies seeking scalable, multilingual technologies that can operate across regions.
The new funding will help Gnani.ai strengthen its presence in these markets, enhance its product offerings, and invest further in engineering and research capabilities.
Investors Bet on Deep-Tech Innovation
For investors like Aavishkaar Capital, the bet on Gnani.ai goes beyond short-term growth. The firm has been increasing its focus on deep-tech startups that address large-scale challenges and deliver long-term impact.
Voice AI, particularly in multilingual and emerging market contexts, represents a powerful opportunity. It has the potential to bridge digital divides, improve access to services, and enable more inclusive technology adoption.
With its strong technical foundation, growing enterprise adoption, and alignment with national AI priorities, Gnani.ai is well-positioned to capitalize on this opportunity.

The Road Ahead
As AI continues to reshape how businesses interact with customers, voice is emerging as one of the most natural and scalable interfaces. Gnani.ai’s latest funding round underscores the momentum in this space—and the increasing importance of building localized, sovereign AI solutions.
With fresh capital in hand and a clear roadmap for innovation and expansion, the startup is aiming to secure a strong foothold in the global enterprise voice AI market—one conversation at a time.
