One thing is certain – there is no better opportunity to get that slim, stylish fitness tracker you have been wanting. The Oura Ring 3 Horizon costs $299, but is on sale for $50 off on both Amazon and Best Buy. If it is silver or black that you like, it is good to know that you will be able to purchase this cool gadget cheaper than you used to. That reduces the price of the round-shaped Horizon model almost in par with the squared-off Heritage one and makes it even cheaper than the newer Oura Ring 4.

What did change with the Oura Ring 3 Horizon?

The Horizon edition does not deviate much – it doesn’t have the flat top of the previous version. It once had more of a wavy appearance; now it is nice and round, like that-a doughnut in the morning! However, apart from the new good looks, the Horizon still retains all those fantastic health tracking abilities.

Inside this tiny ring, you’ll find:

Seven thermometers that monitor the prism of alterations of the human body temperature.

A pulse oximeter to monitor your oxygen levels in the blood.

A LED heart rate monitor in green color so you can monitor your pulse.

It is not going to end in counting the number of steps – this ring cuts it deep. Literally. It follows your sleep cycles and REM, deep sleep and everything in between. The Horizon also clearly displays how quickly the heart rate returns to normal once the body is at rest whilst asleep. No matter if you are an evening person or a morning person, the Oura Ring can tell you how well you sleep.

It can even forecast even the menstrual periods and assists women in beating the calendar. And if you want to check your heart rate anytime, within less time of glacing at the application it delivers the information.

What’s the Catch?

Here’s the kicker: and while after the one-month trial you’ll be using the Oura membership costing $5.99/month to keep using all these analyses.

A Deal You Shouldn’t Miss

Technically, the Oura Ring 3 Horizon is last-gen, so this might be a good opportunity to get a really good health tracker for reasonably good money. After such units is off the market, they may hard to locate at such a throwaway price. In short, if you have been waiting for a deal you have no reason not to grab it.

Extra Deals You Might Like

If you’re in the mood to shop for more gadgets, check these out:

Anker Prime 20,000mAh Power Bank: Available today for $89.99 on Amazon instead of $40. Ideal for charging your gadgets in portable form factor that doubles as a power management station with two USB-C and one USB-A ports as well as LED display indicating battery level and power consumption.

Lego Nintendo Entertainment System Build: At less than $2 per piece, which is even less than many larger dollar stores, this 2,600+ piece set is now $54 off and can be had for $215.99. It even comes with a game cartridge and a 70s TV and even an animated Super Mario doll! All you have to do is sign up for a Lego Insiders membership to get your hands on this offer.

2023 Motorola Razr: Snap up the foldable phone for only $349.99 which is $250 cheaper at Amazon. As far as practicality goes, it sends a bunch of mixed signals, but at the same time, I can vouch for it as it is one of the affordable and unmistakable looking devices on the market that will be a surefire hit with the retro-styled photography enthusiast.

Final Thoughts

If you are concerned with health tracking, or just want to be ahead of the game technologically, the Oura Ring 3 Horizon is a great purchase for $299. In the form factor of a fashionable watch, there is a wealth of functionality such as sleep tracking, heart rate monitor and temperature.

How to Increase Gas Mileage: Small Driving Changes That Save Big at the Pump

Fuel prices may rise and fall, but one thing stays constant: drivers want to make every litre go further. The good news is that improving gas mileage does not always require buying a new hybrid or changing cars altogether. A few disciplined habits behind the wheel, along with basic maintenance, can make a noticeable difference over time. For most drivers, the biggest gains come from reducing waste. That means less aggressive acceleration, fewer unnecessary trips, correctly inflated tyres and a car that is mechanically healthy. Smooth Driving Uses Less Fuel The quickest way to burn more fuel is to drive as if every traffic light is a starting grid. Hard acceleration, sharp braking and sudden changes in speed force the engine to work harder and consume more petrol. A smoother approach works better. Accelerate gradually, maintain a steady speed where possible and look ahead to anticipate traffic. If a red light is visible in the distance, easing off the accelerator early is usually more efficient than rushing forward and braking hard at the last moment. Speed also matters. As speeds rise, aerodynamic drag increases and the engine needs more energy to keep the vehicle moving. On highways, staying within a sensible cruising range rather than constantly pushing at high speeds can help reduce fuel consumption. Check Tyre Pressure Regularly Tyres are easy to ignore until something goes wrong, but they play a major role in fuel economy. Under-inflated tyres create more rolling resistance, which means the engine has to use more fuel just to move the car forward. Drivers should check tyre pressure at least once a month, preferably when the tyres are cold. The correct pressure is usually listed on the driver-side door frame or in the owner’s manual. It is important not to use the maximum pressure printed on the tyre sidewall as a target. That figure is not necessarily the recommended setting for the vehicle. The US Environmental Protection Agency notes that under-inflation reduces fuel economy, increases tyre wear and adds to emissions. Stop Carrying Extra Weight A car is not a storage room. Heavy items in the boot may seem harmless, but extra weight makes the engine work harder, especially in city traffic where the vehicle is constantly stopping and starting. Clear out unnecessary tools, boxes, sports gear and other items that have been sitting in the car for weeks. Roof racks and cargo boxes can also hurt mileage by increasing aerodynamic drag. If they are not being used, remove them. This is especially relevant for drivers who spend most of their time on highways, where wind resistance becomes a bigger factor. Keep Up With Maintenance A well-maintained vehicle is usually a more fuel-efficient vehicle. Delayed oil changes, worn spark plugs, clogged air filters, dragging brakes and poor wheel alignment can all affect how efficiently a car runs. Following the manufacturer’s service schedule is the safest route. Use the recommended engine oil grade and get warning lights checked instead of ignoring them. A sudden drop in mileage can be an early sign that something needs attention. The EPA advises motorists to follow their vehicle maintenance schedule and use the recommended motor oil to support better fuel efficiency and safer operation. Combine Trips and Avoid Long Idling Short trips can be surprisingly fuel-hungry because the engine has not had enough time to reach its most efficient operating temperature. Combining errands into one planned route can reduce cold starts, unnecessary kilometres and fuel use. Idling is another quiet fuel drain. If you are waiting for an extended period, switching off the engine can be more sensible than leaving it running. Modern cars do not need long warm-up periods before driving. Start, settle for a few seconds and drive gently. The Bottom Line Better gas mileage is less about one miracle trick and more about consistent habits. Drive smoothly, maintain the right tyre pressure, remove excess weight and service the car on time. These small changes may not feel dramatic on a single trip, but over months of commuting, school runs and highway drives, they can add up to real savings.
