Want to beat Panthalus? It is a toughie! But you can do so with the right preparation and planning, which can increase your chances of beating one. So, let’s dive in and see how it can be done!
About Panthalus Palworld
Panthalus is the huge Level 70 legendary Water-type flying whale introduced in Palworld 1.0, and here is why you should know all about this special one. You cannot find it in the wild! Instead, you must summon it at the Deserted Islet by collecting four Echobones from whale skeletons across the map and crafting the Echoing Flute, which is required.
The boss fight takes place in a water environment, making ground-based Pals completely useless. To win, you need to stay mounted on a fast-flying Pal like Jetragon or Neptilius to outrun Panthalus’s tracking bubble and tidal attacks. If you have played Pokémon Go, you may be able to understand the workings pretty well. So, bring powerful endgame weapons and Electric-type Pals to exploit its elemental weakness and beat the 10-minute timer. Once defeated, you must capture it to break the barrier blocking the World Tree.
Steps to beat Panthalus
If you are intending to beat Panthalus, then these are the steps that can help.
- The first thing you must do is to start the fight by speaking to the researcher at the Deserted Islet, gathering four whale bones across the map, and crafting the Echoing Flute. You need it ahead.
- Now plan and make your team with high-level Electric-type Pals. These may include some names like Neptilius, Orserk, or a fully condensed Jetragon to exploit the boss’s element weakness.
- And now that you have the attack ready, leave all ground-based Pals at your base because the entire arena is water. It means don’t carry a weak defense either.
- Also, remember to bring endgame weapons like the Plasma Cannon or a Multi-Guided Missile Launcher to suck away the HP it holds before your timer runs out. Remember, you have to do it before the timer goes off, or you have to start again.
- Next, you have to stay constantly mounted on a fast-flying Pal during combat so you can run fast in any direction, tracking bubble attacks and giant tidal waves. Also, aim your weapons directly at the glowing blue crystal on top of Panthalus’s head to deal maximum critical damage.
- The strategy is simple. Focus entirely on survival and maximum damage output.
- When you have it, keep the captured whale in your party and run straight to the barrier terminal to unlock access to the World Tree area. And it’s done.
