  • Navigate to the Cache Directory: Press Command + Shift + G to open the “Go to Folder” dialog.

Type the following path and press Enter:

  • javascript
  • ~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams
  • Delete Cache Files:
  • In the Teams folder, delete the contents of the following subfolders:
  • Application Cache/Cache
  • blob_storage
  • Cache
  • databases
  • GPUCache
  • IndexedDB
  • Local Storage

  • Restart Microsoft Teams: Open Microsoft Teams again and log in. The application will rebuild the cache files.
  1. iOS:
  • Close Microsoft Teams:
  • Double-click the Home button or swipe up from the bottom of the screen (depending on your device) to open the app switcher.
  • Swipe up on the Teams app to close it.
  • Clear Cache:
  • Unfortunately, iOS does not offer a direct way to clear app cache. You can try reinstalling the app as an alternative.
  • To reinstall, go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Teams > Offload App. Then reinstall Teams from the App Store.
  1. Android:
  • Close Microsoft Teams:
  • Go to your device’s settings and select “Apps” or “Application Manager.”
  • Find and select Microsoft Teams.
  • Tap “Force Stop.”
  • Clear Cache: In the same app settings, tap “Storage” and then “Clear Cache.”
  • Restart Microsoft Teams: Open Microsoft Teams again and log in.
