Playing Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, but don’t know how to evolve Girafarig? We’ve got your back. Follow the guide to know how you can evolve this Pokémon and get to see it in its advanced version. So, let’s get started.
About Girafarig
If cute and bizarre came together, it would be for this Pokémon. Girafarig is thus a weirdly charming creature and has a cute but surreal second head on its tail. The tail actually has a tiny brain of its own and reacts to smells or sounds. Thus, you must know that it is functional against anything else. It even just bites anything that gets too close. Also, its name is a palindrome, which mirrors its symmetrical look. If you’ve been into computer programming at any time, you must be familiar with the term anyway. It was a bit of a forgotten gem from the Johto region for a long time, but the recent evolution launched in Scarlet and Violet has given it a new recognition that has drawn a lot of gamers towards it lately.
Steps to evolve Girafarig
If you want to evolve this Pokémon, then these are the steps that you are required to follow.
- Evolution requires you to be at a certain level, too. So, first, you need to get your Girafarig to level 32. This is the milestone where it naturally tries to learn its signature move called the Twin Beam. If you skip learning this, then the Pokémon would miss out on what it can do best. So, do it when the game gives you a prompt.
- If your Girafarig is already at a much higher level and does not currently know the move, you can simply go into the move management menu and then use the remember moves function to teach it Twin Beam, right away.
- Once the move is swooshing in its active moveset, you just have to jump one more level. It’s that simple! You can do this through a standard battle, by using a rare candy, or even by having an experience candy.
- As soon as that level-up animation concludes, the evolution screen will start up right before you, and your Girafarig will transform into Farigiraf. And you now have the evolved version that you’ve been seeking for so long! Cool, isn’t it?
But a word of caution! Just remember that the evolution will never happen if Twin Beam is missing from the four active move slots. So, prep up accordingly.
