Find a Trade Partner
The most important step is to trade Pumpkaboo with another player. This requires you to be connected online to initiate a Link Trade, which will then allow you to make the trade possible.
Start the Trade
Trade your Pumpkaboo to your trading partner to trigger the evolution. As soon as Pumpkaboo transfers to the other trainer’s game, the evolution process will immediately trigger, turning it into Gourgeist the same size as your previous Pokémon was.
Trade Back
To get your new Gourgeist back, your trading partner will need to trade it back to you! Therefore, make sure you trust that the person will send it back to you before initiating the process.
