What is a Titanium Ingot?

A titanium ingot is known to be a compressed, high-density block of titanium. When you are exploring underwater, your pockets quickly fill up with chunks of raw metal, which takes up a ton of storage space. By refining those raw pieces down, you condense them into a single, solid ingot that is much easier to manage. Thus, it is not just efficient, but also more useful.
It is the most popular building block for advanced technology. You can’t just build a high-tech submarine or a deep-sea research base out of anything else. For this, without an alternative, you need pure, structural strength. That is what the ingot provides. It is the core material you will use whenever you need to craft larger vehicles, reinforce your base walls, or upgrade your diving gear to jump and roam about deeper in the mighty ocean.

Steps to get a Titanium Ingot in Subnautica 2

If you want to get a Titanium Ingot in Subnautica 2, then this is all you need to do!

  • First, you need to track down a processor blueprint. You can find a broken one to scan by swimming about 260 meters southwest of your lifepod to the Cicada shipwreck, or by heading roughly 350 meters north to the old habitat structure. These are the two available options.
  • Next, you have to open up your Habitat Builder tool and construct the processor inside a powered base. It may sound complex, but it really isn’t. For this, you will need to gather two pieces of raw titanium, one copper wire, and one container of mild acid to bring it all together.
  • After doing all this, once your processor is up and running, you have to make sure your base has plenty of solar power because this machine drains a ton of electricity while it is working.
  • Walk up to the control panel on the left side of the processor and open up the crafting menu.
  • From here, select the titanium ingot recipe, which will be located at the top of the list, and load in your materials. It takes three pieces of raw titanium to make one ingot. That’s the number.
  • Give the machine about 30 seconds to finish its cycle, after which you can collect the ingot that you have just created.
