The good news is that the new Witcher-themed gear is free. You do not need to purchase additional downloadable content or complete a difficult boss fight to collect the main set. However, you must pay attention to your messages and follow a few simple steps.
All Witcher Items in Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5
The hidden collection contains five main items inspired by The Witcher series:
- Sihil Sword: A distinctive blade inspired by the dwarven swords found in The Witcher universe.
- Boar Carver: A knife resembling the tool Geralt uses when collecting trophies from slain monsters.
- Professor’s Spectacles: Glasses inspired by the distinctive eyewear associated with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
- Ursine Jacket: A jacket based on the armor worn by the School of the Bear.
- Ursine Pants: Matching trousers inspired by the same Witcher armor set.
These items combine recognizable fantasy designs with the futuristic setting of Cyberpunk 2077. The Sihil and Boar Carver provide weapon options, while the clothing pieces allow you to change V’s appearance.
How to Unlock the Witcher Items
The main requirement is to receive a message from Ariadne, a contact who introduces a promotional opportunity involving new fashion products.
Follow these steps to obtain the collection.
Step 1: Update Cyberpunk 2077
Install Update 2.5 before attempting to collect the new items. The update is officially known as the Edgerunners 2 Update and includes several additions beyond the Witcher-themed equipment.
Load your existing save and continue playing normally. You do not need to start a new game simply to access the hidden collection.
Step 2: Watch for Ariadne’s Message
Continue playing until Ariadne contacts V about new fashion products. Respond to her messages and accept the offer to become a brand ambassador.
Avoid sending her conversation to spam, as reports indicate that doing so can prevent the delivery from being triggered.
If the message does not appear immediately, continue playing and allow time for the conversation to progress.
Step 3: Visit V’s Apartment
After accepting the offer and receiving confirmation that your gift is ready, return to V’s original apartment in Megabuilding H10.
You can find the apartment in Little China, within the Watson district of Night City.
Enter the apartment and look for a delivery box immediately to the left of the entrance. Interact with the box to collect the Witcher-themed equipment.
Check your inventory after opening it to make sure you have received the available items.
Step 4: Complete the Photo Request
Ariadne may ask you to wear the new equipment and take a photograph. Equip the Witcher-inspired clothing and complete the requested photo interaction.
After submitting the picture, wait for her response. The promotional interaction can continue with another message, potentially offering additional eddies as a reward.
This step is worth completing if you want to finish the accompanying interaction rather than simply collect the equipment.
