Silksong is full of secrets, powerful tools, and items that change how you experience the game. One of the most important late-game items is Farsight—you can’t see your game completion percentage until you get it. Below is a clear, step-by-step guide on how to obtain the Farsight, what you need, and what happens after you acquire it.

- Purpose: Farsight unlocks your completion percentage in Silksong. Until you have it, many stats on how much of the game you’ve done—items found, enemies beaten, zones explored—remain hidden.
- When it becomes available: It is a late-game item, obtainable only in Act 3, once you reach a region called the Abyss.
How to Get Farsight
Prerequisites
- You must have progressed far through the main storyline—enough to reach Act 3.
- Basic traversal and platforming skills are needed, especially pogoing (bouncing off enemies or objects), long jumps, and dealing with vertical shafts.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Enter the Abyss
Once you’re in Act 3, proceed through the story until you can access the Abyss. - Reach the Bench and Descend
In the Abyss, you’ll find an area with a bench at the bottom. From there, descend further toward a large chamber that contains a major gap or chasm. - Cross the Chasm Using Traversal Moves
Use pogoing (bounce-attacks), floating platforms or enemies, and your full movement tools to cross dangerous gaps. Be patient—missing jumps can set you back. - Play the Needolin to Open the Cocoon Door
At the top of that chamber, there is a Needolin prompt. Hold it to play, which will open a cocoon door. This gives access to a special room known as Weavenest Absolom. - Collect the Farsight
Once inside Weavenest Absolom, jump across a gap and pick up the Farsight item. It will be waiting there among the environment.
What to Do After You Get It
- Return to the Surface: After obtaining Farsight, head back to Bellhart. This can be risky depending on how far you are into the Abyss, so heal up and take safe paths.
- Install Farsight in Your Bellhome: In Bellhart, you have a home called the bellhome. Go there, interact with the assembly point, and choose to install the Farsight. After installation, a short scene will play.
Where to View Completion Stats Once Farsight Is Installed
Once you have installed Farsight, your menus will show new progress readouts. Here’s what you’ll see:
- Inventory: Your overall completion percentage (how much of the game you have done in total).
- Crest: Tools and items you have collected, which helps with tracking which collectibles you are missing.
- Journal: Enemies you’ve encountered and which ones you have catalogued.
Tips and Warnings
- Don’t worry about missing it forever. Farsight is not missable. If you don’t grab it the first time you pass through the area, you can always come back later.
- Prepare for the climb back. Exiting the Abyss after picking it up can be dangerous. Fall damage, tough enemies, and tricky platforms are common, so rest up, heal, and use checkpoints wisely.
- Practice your pogoing and movement skills beforehand. Some sections require precise timing and momentum. If you’re unprepared, you may die a few times.
- Use the skills you’ve collected so far. Advanced movement abilities like super jump or soaring will make things much easier.
