Do you want to get Larvitar in Legends ZA? Read on to know how you can get one! It’s a different quest altogether and can be quite fun! So, let’s get started.
About Larvitar
Larvitar is a little Rock/Ground type from Johto and is built differently!. Born deep underground, it literally eats its way to the surface. We don’t say it, the lore does! It evolves into Pupitar, and then eventually into the powerful Tyranitar. So, don’t judge it based on its size, as it can be pretty fearsome. The evolution from the beginning gets you amazing Pokémon, until at the end you receive the strongest one.
Where can we find Larvitar in Legends ZA?
If you’re playing Legends Z-A, then Lumiose City has some spots where you can look for your Larvitar!
Rooftops
You can find it on various rooftops across the different sectors of Lumiose. Therefore, keep looking for it there as that has a high possibility. Look especially around Vert Sector 2 and Bleu Sector 7.
Wild Zone 15
It also appears in the Wild Zone 15, but that area unlocks later in the game, so if you have levels up really good, you can go for it. Specifically, after you complete Main Mission 19, you can find it in Wild Zone 15.
How to get a Larvitar in Legends Z-A?
Do you want to find yourself a Larvitar in Legends Z-A? We will elaborate on the things we said above with everything you need to know.
The Lumiose City Rooftops are the Way to Go
The fastest way to get one is by exploring specific rooftops, as you may find it there.
- Bleu Sector 7- Look for a building that requires you to activate a speed ramp, which is usually after a quick Side Mission, to get up. Larvitar will be relaxing on the grass patch up there and will be quite noticeable.
- Rouge Sector 7/Vert Sector 2- Other rooftops near Wild Zones may also have a single spawn. You may look around at your own pace, and also like to use ladders, Roto-Glide, and a bit of skill to reach it.
Unlock Wild Zone 15 Later
If the rooftop jumping is not what you’re looking for, you can wait until you’ve progressed a lot in the game.
- Complete Main Mission 19 – This mission unlocks Wild Zone 15, as we had already mentioned above. This is another location where Larvitar consistently appears, so be prepared.
- Use the Rooftop Entrance to be Smooth- Even when you’re in Wild Zone 15, the Larvitar often hangs out on a rooftop section. This may sometimes require you to burn a spiderweb with a Fire-type move to cross over, but then you’ll have it!
And that is how you can get yourself a Larvitar in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
