Can we get Zelda items in Animal Crossing?
Yes, you can do that easily! As of the January 2026 3.0 update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Zelda items have finally made their return to the game, and players can now access them. You can now fill up your island with around 28 iconic pieces, which are the signature elements that the fans have been looking for. This includes the Master Sword, Triforce, and even a Decayed Guardian. To get them, you’ll need to scan a Zelda-series amiibo at the Nook Stop. This permanently unlocks a special collection in your Nook Shopping catalog under the “Promotion” tab. There are so many more things that you can unlock and stack up. We’ll get to the steps of it and discover how we can do it!
Steps to get Zelda items in Animal Crossing
If you are a fan of Zelda and the world, then these items cannot be missed by you. Here are the steps that you’ll need for the same.
Custom Designs
This is the easiest way to go! To do this, just Head to the Custom Design Pro Editor kiosk in the back of the Able Sisters shop. Here, search for “Zelda,” “Link,” or “Triforce.” There, you will find some incredibly detailed outfits for Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf that have already been tailored out by some players, as well as floor patterns that look like the Master Sword pedestal and are quite popular.
Dream Addresses
Now, visit “Zelda-themed” islands via dreaming. You can do this by sleeping in a bed. This works well to see how others use terraforming to recreate the Lost Woods or Hyrule Castle. You are allowed to pick those designs and use them yourself. If not, you can do so yourself later on or find some other ways to be unique and creative.
Creative Substitutes
You can use in-game items that look “Zelda-esque.” The Double-edged Sword, Plate Armor, and Glowing Moss items work well for this. You can go for any and all.
Amiibo
This is another way that you can go for! While Amiibos unlocked exclusive items in previous games, in New Horizons, scanning a Zelda Amiibo only unlocks that character’s poster. This may not be as extensive as you were expecting it to be, but it’s still manageable, at least for a while. This allows them to visit Photopia or The Roost.
And that is how you can get some Zelda items while playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
