Accidentally quick selling a valuable player in EA Sports FC can be frustrating, especially if it was a rare card, a special item, or someone important to your Ultimate Team squad. The good news is that Electronic Arts includes a Quick Sell Recovery feature that allows players to restore eligible items without losing them forever. However, the feature comes with a few rules and limitations that every player should understand before relying on it.

What Is The Quick Sell Recovery Feature?

Quick Sell Recovery is an official feature in EA Sports FC Ultimate Team that lets players recover eligible player items that were previously quick sold. Instead of losing the card forever, you can restore it by paying back the exact number of Coins you originally received from the quick sale.

The system is designed to help players who accidentally discard valuable cards while managing their club. Whether you sold a high-rated player by mistake or removed a special card without realizing it, the recovery feature can often save the day.

Keep in mind that not every discarded item can be recovered forever. Recoveries are only available for a limited time, so acting quickly is important.

How To Recover Quick Sold Players

Recovering a player is a simple process once you know where to look.

Follow these steps:

  • Open the EA Sports FC Web App or Companion App.
  • Sign in using the same EA account linked to your Ultimate Team club.
  • Open the Club section.
  • Select Quick Sell Recovery.
  • Browse the list of recently quick sold items.
  • Choose the player you want to restore.
  • Confirm the recovery.
  • Pay back the Coins you originally received from the quick sale.

After completing these steps, the recovered player will return to your club and can be used immediately.

Can You Recover Players On Console?

The Quick Sell Recovery tool is primarily available through the EA Sports FC Web App and Companion App rather than directly inside the console version of Ultimate Team.

If you accidentally quick sell a player while playing on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, or PC, simply log into the Companion App or Web App using the same account to recover eligible items.

Because everything is tied to your EA account, it does not matter which platform you originally played on.

Recovery Limits You Should Know

Quick Sell Recovery is not unlimited. EA places restrictions on how often you can use it to prevent abuse.

Here are the most important limits:

  • Recoveries are only available for recently quick sold items.
  • Items remain recoverable for approximately seven days after being discarded.
  • There is a limited number of recoveries available during each rolling 31-day period.
  • You must have enough Coins to repay the amount earned from the original quick sale.
  • Once the recovery window expires, the item cannot be restored through this feature.

Because of these limits, it is best to recover valuable players as soon as possible.

Which Items Can Be Recovered?

Most player items that were quick sold can be recovered if they meet the eligibility requirements.

Examples include:

  • Gold player cards
  • Rare player cards
  • Team of the Week players
  • Promotional player items
  • Special Ultimate Team cards
  • Some duplicate player items

However, players permanently removed for reasons other than a quick sale generally cannot be restored through this system.

Tips To Avoid Accidentally Quick Selling Players

Although recovery is helpful, preventing mistakes is always better.

Here are a few useful habits:

  • Double-check every confirmation screen before quick selling.
  • Use the Favorite option for important players when available.
  • Store valuable duplicates instead of selling them immediately.
  • Review your club carefully before clearing unwanted items.
  • Slow down when opening large packs to avoid accidental selections.
  • Keep enough Coins in your account in case you need to recover an important player.

These small precautions can save you from losing expensive cards during busy pack-opening sessions.

What If The Player Does Not Appear?

Sometimes a recently discarded player may not show up in the recovery list.

This can happen if:

  • More than seven days have passed.
  • The recovery limit has already been reached.
  • The item is not eligible for Quick Sell Recovery.
  • You are logged into the wrong EA account.
  • The item was removed through another method instead of being quick sold.

If none of these situations apply, try refreshing the Companion App or Web App and signing in again.
