In The Forge — a game on Roblox — your chosen race affects your stats, abilities, and how you play the game. At the start you are assigned a race (often a basic one), but there’s a system that lets you change — or “reroll” — your race later. Doing so uses a resource called a “race reroll” (or “spin”). Each time you spin, the game randomly assigns a new race based on fixed chances tied to each race’s rarity.

Because your race influences things like movement speed, health, mining bonus, attack damage or other perks, rerolling can be a big deal. If your current race doesn’t suit your style, rerolling gives you a shot at something stronger or more fitting.

How to Reroll Race: Two Main Ways

You have two main methods to reroll your race in The Forge:

Via the Shop / Inventory Menu

  • Press T (or click the bag/rucksack icon) to open your personal stash or inventory.

  • Switch to the Shop tab inside the menu.

  • Scroll through until you find a section related to rerolls or races. Then select the option like “Race Menu” or “Reroll Race.”

  • If you have at least one reroll spin available, click “Reroll”. The game will then randomly assign a new race to your character.

Via the Wizard NPC in the Game World

  • Spawn (or return) to the main hub area or spawn zone in The Forge. Instead of heading straight into the cave or dungeon, take the left path from the entrance.

  • Follow the path until you pass a specific NPC (often named something like “Tomo the Explorist”). Continue further until you reach a unique building such as a tower or house — this is the Wizard’s Tower.

  • Enter the building and locate the Wizard NPC inside. Press the interaction key (usually E) to open the race or reroll interface.

  • Use any available reroll spins through this interface to get a new race — identical in effect to using the shop menu.

Both methods lead to the same type of “race wheel” or random-assignment interface: your current race, a reroll button, and a list of possible races with indicated chances.

How to Get More Reroll Spins

Because rerolls are limited, here are the common ways to obtain more spins:

  • Redeem in-game codes: The developers occasionally release codes that grant free reroll spins. You can enter these codes from the game’s settings or a dedicated code-redemption menu.

  • Complete main quests or special events: Some quests — especially in later stages — and limited-time events may reward you with free rerolls.

  • Purchase spins using Robux (paid option): If you don’t want to wait, the game offers rerolls in bundles — for example, 1 reroll, 5 rerolls, or 10 rerolls through the in-game shop.

  • Unlock additional race slots (optional, but useful): The Forge allows multiple race slots — so you can save good races while still re-rolling for better ones. For instance, a second slot may become available at a certain level, or via purchase; a third slot may unlock later under similar conditions.

The Races, Their Rarity and What They Offer

Here is a simplified view of the kinds of races you might get, with rough chances and general traits:

  • Common (highest chance, around 25%) — e.g. Human. Offers basic perks such as small boosts to luck or experience gain.

  • Uncommon (about 14–15%) — e.g. races like Elf or Zombie (or similar). Slightly better traits compared to common.

  • Rare (around 8–10%) — e.g. Goblin, Undead, Orc. Provide better stats or bonuses tied to certain activities.

  • Epic (around 6–7%) — e.g. Dwarf, Shadow. Bring stronger buffs or specialized perks (mining, stealth, combat, etc.).

  • Legendary (very low chance, around 1–2%) — e.g. Minotaur, Dragonborn, Golem. High-value races with significant perks: enhanced health, damage, or survivability.

  • Mythical (extremely rare, perhaps around 0.5%) — e.g. Angel, Demon. Highly sought after: top-tier mobility, damage output, or special abilities exceeding many others.

Because the system is random, obtaining a Legendary or Mythical race is very hard. Many players accept common or uncommon races early on, then reroll later when they have enough spins.

Smart Reroll Strategies — How to Maximize Your Outcome

Since spins are limited, it’s wise to approach rerolling strategically:

  • Save and accumulate spins before serious rerolling. Use free sources of spins first (codes, quests) rather than spending Robux immediately.

  • Use multiple slots wisely. Unlock extra race slots so you don’t lose a good race while chasing a better one. This lets you maintain a “mining-friendly” race in one slot while rerolling for a “combat-oriented” race in another.

  • Avoid overspending on chasing the “perfect” race. A solid mid-tier race may be sufficient for many playstyles until you unlock more advanced game content.

  • Be realistic about odds. Legendary or Mythical races are rare by design. Expect common/uncommon races frequently, and don’t get discouraged if you don’t land the top-tier ones.
