Do you want to switch to the hard mode in 99 Nights? Here are the steps that you need to do the same. Follow the guide to get your answers and play the game on a slightly harder level. So, let’s begin.
About 99 Nights
99 Nights in the Forest is an intense cooperative horror gaming experience available on Roblox that is somewhere between a base-builder and a waking nightmare. Let us give you the outline of this experience. It is where you and your friends are dropped into a haunted woodland with one primary goal in common – to survive 99 days while rescuing four missing children. During the day, you’re scavenging for wood and coal to fuel your campfire, but once the sun sets, the game shifts into a different mode, which is total survival.
You have to stay within the light to fend off a stalking “Deer” and mutated beasts. This is a crazy experience that always keeps you on your toes. With a variety of unlockable classes and a brand-new Hard Mode featuring “Corruption Rifts,” it gets all about resource management and staying calm when the shadows start moving out there. It is a survival game that can test your patience.
Steps to start the hard more in 99 Nights
If you want to switch to the Hard Core in 99 Nights, here are the steps that you need to follow.
Upgrade the Fire Immediately
The moment you spawn in the game, the focus goes entirely on gathering wood and coal. You first need to upgrade your campfire to Level 1 or 2 as soon as possible. This sets the base for further activities.
Find the Research Outpost
Once the fire is upgraded, you need to look around the map for a new and large building called the Research Outpost.
The Basement
Once you have found it, go inside the Outpost and look for a steel door on the left side. Here you need to go down the stairs into the basement. You’ll find a series of levers, one for each player in your lobby.
The Deadline
You are required to pull your lever before the end of Day 3. If you miss this window, the facility locks down, and you’ll stay in a normal run. This is fine, but you need to do it within the frame to get what you’re looking for.
Team Vote
Every player in the game needs to pull their respective lever to start the vote. Once the final lever is pulled, a cutscene will play that one cannot skip, and the forest will officially turn “Angry.” This is only the beginning! The process has been triggered.
Watch the Meter
Once you’ve done it, you’ll see a new Corruption Meter on your screen. Now you can clear “Corruption Rifts,” Which are marked by purple marks, to keep the debuffs from becoming a problem.
Congrats! You have entered the hard mode in 99 Nights.
