ShareChat, which is a regional language social media platform, is now in talks with the Tencent holdings and some others for the funding to raise around $200 Million.
The firm is seeking a valuation of around $600 Million in the latest funding round, according to the report which has been revealed.
The company was also valued at around $460 Million when it last raised money in the month of September. It gets investment by some of the existing investor Shunwei Capital along with some of the new investor Morningside Ventures of China and Jesmond Holdings, which is an affiliate of the Russian billionaire DST Global.
The firm which is founded by the three IIT Kanpur, Farid Ahsan, Bhanu Singh, and Ankush Sachdeva in the year 2015. ShareChat allows users to discover and shares the content in the regional language.
The app also allows the users to create the posts, consume all types of multimedia content, follow people, message one on one and even share some of the things into the various communication and community platforms.
