Mobile Premier League (MPL), the mobile eSports platforms, has now acquired the Pune based Crevise Technologies today, which was within the eight months of MPL starting operations.
Creivse technologies which are formed in the year 2016, is a startup that provides end-to-product engineering consultation. Its founders, Atul Aphale and Mukta Apaahale, will now lead the 10 members technical team of MPL from Pune.
The deal consists of a combination of equity and cash, both the companies did not even share any of the financial details. Crevise technologies and MPL have already been collaborated in the past to improve the operational and performance efficiency of the MPL gaming platform.
“eSports is becoming a mass market phenomenon in India and MPL is spearheading it. MPL and Crevise can deliver a better experience to our end customers by supporting the engineering side of MPL’s exponential growth and scale,” said Mukta, Founder, and CEO of Crevise Technologies.
MPL had also recently revealed the Series A investment of $35.5 million led by the Times Internet, Sequoia India, and GoVentures with the collaboration from some other investors which includes the Base Ventures, BEENEXT, and Venture Highway.
