MyScoot, which is a platform for meeting new people at home hosted events, has now secured $1.7 Million in the seed funding from the Venture Highway, Mayfield India, Lightspeed India Partners. The Gurgaon based startup plans to hire its core technology team and expand in the markets it is currently operational in with the help of new funds.
Kunal Shah, founder of Cred and Maninder Gulati, CSO at OYO Rooms also participated in the round in their personal capacity.
It is being founded by the Sidharth, Akhil Tripathi, Suyash and Somvir. It builds an artificial intelligence-based social experience recommendation, develops safeguards to prevent untoward incidents. It is currently expanding across Bangalore and Delhi.
Following the AirBnB model, MyScoot verifies properties of the prospective hosts, which allows them to set a price for the offering, select guests, and earns with the entire process. MyScoot provides guests to host dinner meetings, salsa dance socials, board game brunches, and backyard bonfires.
